Dear Mr. Butler,
I love your work! As I sat intently watching for the first time - I laughed, I cried, I was amazed that this seemed as good as any Hollywood production - given what you had originally to work with. I was impressed with your editing, as your shots from 4 cameras gave me the best possible views other than seeing it from my own eyes; and you graciously, and imperceptibly, removed most of what I considered to be my wedding's worst "bloopers."
I was impressed that you seemed to have a feel for just what I would want - without me having to tell you! Some examples of this were:
The awesome way that you took my original invitation and animated it's unfolding;
Using the invitation and font style to create subtitles within the video;
Using the "kiss the bride" frame/shot for my video & DVD cover (and as the main menu image for DVDs), as well as including multiple angle frames (views) of it, too;
Creating multiple-view streaming of performing artists, that was edited to perfectly match performance frame by frame; and incorporating musical selections that were appropriate to what I, myself, would have selected for given portions of the videos that otherwise would not have had any sound except noise (such as: the Reception - site preparation; Reception line coverage; and early part of our Honeymoon montage)!
Also, I found you to very reasonably priced (compared to other videographers); extremely hardworking; conscientious about my desires, church requirements, and timely service (i.e.: not only did you show up before the contracted time, but you also came to the rehearsal to preview lighting and sound requirements, even though that was not a contract requirement). You always did MORE than what was required of you, and that is an admirable quality in this day and age!
I am SO glad that I did not listen to friends that told me that using a videographer for wedding coverage would be a disappointing waste of money! It has provided me with the best memories I have of the event(s), and family members concur!
It is for all of these reasons, and more, that I would highly recommend Video Houston to any bride-to-be (young or old), or parents of the bride - or to any other person (or company) that is interested in getting a quality production from a very talented artist!
